About the Drama Department
The Drama Department is a lively, imaginative, and collaborative team offering GCSE and A Level Drama. The department produces several high-quality productions each year and runs clubs, workshops, and theatre trips. Teaching focuses on characterisation, performance technique, directing, devising, and analysis of dramatic works. Students consistently achieve strong academic and performance outcomes.
The Role
• Teach Drama across KS3–KS5.
• Support large-scale productions and extracurricular clubs.
• Develop schemes of work and contribute to performing arts events.
• Encourage creativity, expression, and collaboration among students.
Requirements
• QTS with a Drama or Performing Arts degree.
• Experience directing or assisting with productions is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and creative teaching skills.
