Nursery: The Learning Tree, 2A Carlisle Road, Romford, Essex, RM1 2QP
Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week Monday - Friday (5pm - 8pm)
Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hi, I’m Karly, the Nursery Manager at The Learning Tree.

At our nursery, we’ve created a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive from babyhood through to preschool. Every space is thoughtfully designed to support each stage of development, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.

Our beautiful living walls bring the outside in, creating a calming , nature-inspired atmosphere indoors. Outside, our garden offers engaging opportunities for sand and water play, where children collaborate, explore, and learn together through play.

What you'll be doing
As a Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.

You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.

• Experience in a similar role

• Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness

• An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness

• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH

• Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security
