Senior CyberArk Engineer – Banking Client (CyberArk design, implementation) – London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam

Rate: 500 – 900 per day

Duration: 1 year

Hybrid: 8 days onsite in a month – the rest can be worked remote.

Your role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist CyberArk Senior Designer to join our cybersecurity team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CyberArk solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of our organization’s privileged access management infrastructure.

The Specialist CyberArk Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions that protect our critical assets and sensitive data from unauthorized access.

Your responsibilities & duties

  • Design, implement, and manage CyberArk solutions to meet organizational security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain architectural design documents, including technical diagrams, process flows, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into CyberArk solution designs and system requirements.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and implement necessary controls.
  • Monitor and maintain CyberArk infrastructure, including servers, databases, and other components, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Oversee the implementation of CyberArk solutions, including installation, configuration, and integration with other systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve the project’s technical issues related to CyberArk infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce privileged access management best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend appropriate measures to enhance security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, network security, and compliance, to ensure alignment of security initiatives and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support the CyberArk infrastructure OS upgrades, on various technologies (Linux, Windows and Mainframe)
  • Ability to develop and amend CyberArk connectors/plug-in
  • Provide training and organize project hand-over to the operational teams, sharing best practices.

Your qualifications required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CyberArk Certified Trustee, CyberArk Certified Defender) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a CyberArk Designer, designing and implementing enterprise-level CyberArk solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of CyberArk Privileged Access Security Suite, including Password Vault, Admin Console, Central Policy Manager, and Privileged Session Manager.
  • Strong understanding of privileged access management concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and customization of CyberArk solutions.
  • Experience with integrating CyberArk solutions with other security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IAM, and PAM solutions.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Scrum/Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience working on Multi-Cultural environment.
