Location : Cicoria by Angela Hartnett, Royal Opera House, London

Employment Type: Full-Time

Rate Of Pay: 15- 20 per hour (based on experience)

We're Company of Cooks, and together with Angela Hartnett, we're opening something special on the fifth floor of the Royal Opera House. Think: seasonal, ingredient-led Italian-inspired food, an all-day menu designed by one of the UK's most loved chefs, and a beautiful rooftop terrace with unbeatable views over Covent Garden Piazza. We aim to deliver an exceptional dining experience that celebrates the heart and soul of Italian cuisine.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen brigade. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef who is eager to grow within a high-calibre, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your section with confidence, consistency, and attention to detail
• Prepare and present dishes in line with the restaurant's high standards and specifications
• Ensure mise en place is maintained and ready for service
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to contribute to menu development and daily specials
• Support junior kitchen staff with training, guidance, and a positive example
• Help ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-driven kitchen (Italian cuisine experience is highly desirable)
• A strong work ethic, team spirit, and commitment to delivering outstanding food
• A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and develop
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Right to work in the UK
