Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and implementation of SEN provision across the school, ensuring that all students with SEND receive the support they need to thrive.
- Coordinating the identification, assessment, and provision for students with SEN, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Providing guidance and training to teachers and support staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Collaborating with the senior leadership team to monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement in SEN provision.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN coordination or a relevant SEN qualification.
- Sound understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues to deliver outstanding SEN provision.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality of opportunity for all students, regardless of their individual needs or backgrounds.
