About the Employer
We're seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant Practitioner to join our Early Years team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support young children during their critical developmental stage.
Our school prioritizes small class sizes and provides a nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 11. We aim to deliver bespoke curricula tailored to each student's needs, focusing on their holistic development and fostering confidence.

Role Purpose
As Nursery Assistant Practitioner, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children aged 2–5 can build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their love of learning through play. You’ll work closely with colleagues and families to support each child’s individual journey and helping them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily care, learning, and development support for children aged 2–5 years.
- Create engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and social development.
- Support indoor and outdoor learning activities.
- Observe and monitor children’s progress and wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare.
- Contribute to planning activities, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification required.
- Experience working with children aged 2–5 years within an Early Years setting.
- Warm, patient, caring, and passionate about Early Years education.
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Enjoys working within a collaborative and supportive team.
- Paediatric or Emergency First Aid qualification desirable.
- Additional Early Years training or qualifications desirable.
