Pay: £80 - £100 per day

A thriving mainstream primary school located in the vibrant borough of Hammersmith, are currently seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join the team. This primary school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in their daily activities. You will work closely with classroom teachers to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
- Preparing and organising teaching materials and resources.
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Helping with the supervision of students during break times and outings.
- Collaborating with the teaching team to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced educators.
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
