Psychology Teacher - Independent School - Kingston upon Thames

The position will primarily involve teaching A-Level Psychology. You will introduce students to psychological approaches, research methods and key studies while helping them understand how psychological theories can be applied to real-life behaviour.

Students will study areas such as memory, social influence, attachment, biopsychology, research methods and psychopathology, depending on the specification.

The successful candidate will need to develop students' ability to interpret research, evaluate psychological explanations and construct well-supported written responses. Lessons should include a balance of direct teaching, discussion, application activities and examination preparation.
