Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Science department across KS3–KS4 (and KS5, if applicable)
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
- Plan and deliver an engaging, innovative, and inclusive Science curriculum
- Support and mentor teaching staff, encouraging professional growth
- Monitor progress and use data to inform strategic departmental development
- Promote a love of Science through enrichment opportunities and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a strong academic background in Science
- Proven success in teaching Science at secondary level
- Experience of leading or supporting departmental initiatives
- A passion for developing teaching practice and inspiring students
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A commitment to the school’s values and raising pupil outcomes
