A well-regarded secondary school in Richmond upon Thames is looking to appoint a reliable Premises Officer to help maintain a safe, secure and well-presented school site. The school takes pride in its facilities and is seeking someone who can support the effective day-to-day management of its buildings and grounds.

The Role

The Premises Officer will assist with site inspections, health and safety checks, maintenance requests and general facilities coordination. Responsibilities will include monitoring contractors, maintaining compliance documentation, reporting repairs and ensuring that any site-related issues are addressed promptly. You will also support the wider premises team with security procedures, opening and closing arrangements and the upkeep of school facilities.

Requirements

Candidates should have previous experience in premises management, facilities coordination, maintenance or a similar operational role. A good understanding of health and safety procedures, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently are important. Experience within a school or public-sector environment would be beneficial.
