This role focuses on teaching programming and digital literacy to highly motivated pupils across the Senior School.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with responsibility for the A-Level curriculum.
- Design and implement innovative schemes of work that inspire student engagement in programming, coding, and advanced digital literacy.
- Contribute actively to the school's growing STEAM provision, potentially running coding clubs, robotics teams, or technology workshops.
- Monitor student progress, ensuring strong outcomes and high levels of subject uptake.
- Work collaboratively within the Science and Technology faculties as a dedicated Computer Science Teacher.
Requirements
- A strong degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (QTS/PGCE valued but not essential).
- Proven success in teaching the subject to a high standard, particularly at A-Level.
- Seeking a Computer Science Teacher who is passionate about technology and can inspire intellectually curious students.
- The ability to contribute positively to the school's culture of academic rigour and innovation.
