Role Summary
Working for a highly regarded Lloyd’s/London Market Insurer, you will be responsible for managing a team of Casualty Claims Handlers across Lloyd’s and Company Market platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the Casualty team’s performance against KPIs.
- Contributing to company profitability through effective claims management.
- Reporting developments and trends in the wider legal and regulatory environment applicable to the Casualty portfolios.
- Direct involvement in the management of significant large losses as necessary.
Key Requirements
- Experience in Casualty Claims, including UK and European GL/EL/PL, and a small amount of Product Liability.
- Ability to effectively identify, lead, coach and develop talented claims professionals.
- Knowledge of loss fund management, portfolio run off and disposition strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple work streams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
