Support Worker (Children's Residential Care)
Join our team as a Senior Residential Support Worker, making a real difference in the lives of young people aged 11-18 with emotional and behavioural needs. You'll work in our Greater London homes, covering Camden, Haringey, and Islington, on a fixed rota pattern of 12-hour shifts (08:00-20:00).

- Pay: £34,660.95 per annum
- Hours: Fixed pattern: Week 1 (60 hours), Week 2 (24 hours), minimum average 168 hours/month
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
- Location: Greater London (covering Area Camden homes)
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Closing date: Until filled
The Work
- Deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people
- Act as a key worker, oversee daily practice, and support improvement
- Lead and mentor staff, organise work patterns, and ensure compliance with care plans
- Manage placement plans, respond to safeguarding concerns, and coordinate services
- Provide strong leadership, maintain high standards, and contribute to quality assurance
- Support the home's 24/7 operation and ensure safe, consistent care
- Contribute to recording systems, admin tasks, and general household upkeep
- Assist with managing the home's budget
What You Need
- Experience: 2-3 years in relevant role
- Qualifications: Children's Workforce Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and childcare practice
- Checks: Enhanced DBS check
Desirable
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and procedures
What's On Offer

- Fixed rota pattern, minimum average 168 hours/month
- 236 hours annual leave, increasing by 12 hours per year for 3 years
