Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromley ️ Start Date: September 2025 Pay: (ependent on experience Contract: permanent Protocol Education is working with a friendly and inclusive school in Bromley seeking a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to support pupils' learning and development in a rewarding and varied role. Whether you have classroom experience or transferable skills from youth work, care, or support work, we want to hear from you! About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, or speech & language difficulties) Encourage positive learning behaviours and help maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment Support the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources Help students build confidence and achieve their full potential The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children or young people (in school or other settings) A calm, positive and patient approach A genuine passion for education and supporting pupil progress Good literacy and numeracy skills An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one What Protocol Education Offers: Competitive weekly pay via PAYE (no umbrella fees) FREE CPD courses and continuous professional development Support and guidance from a dedicated local consultant Opportunities in mainstream and specialist settings Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or considering a career in education, Protocol Education will support you every step of the way.
