Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering outstanding meals for our prestigious clients. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and creativity while managing a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Develop and implement seasonal menus, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
• Manage kitchen budgets and control food costs to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay current with food trends and customer preferences, adapting menus accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role, ideally within contract catering or a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent culinary skills and creativity, with a passion for high-quality food.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
