A journey that in 2024 culminated in M&S being recognised as Marketing Week’s Brand of the Year, YouGov’s ‘Best Brand’ and Kantar’s Brand of the Year.As our Advertising Account Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the strategy, creation and execution of in-house Food Advertising campaigns and Sponsorship partnerships. Key Accountabilities and Measures Working within the M&S Advertising, Media & Sponsorship team, responsible for delivering all advertising and paid media campaigns at M&S FoodDelivering and owning the end-to-end creation, implementation and measurement of brand advertising and sponsorship campaigns, such as Farm to Foodhall, Health, Christmas & EasterManaging internal stakeholders (category marketing, own brand, events marketing, creative production) effectively and efficiently to deliver campaigns that drive overall business growthBalancing and aligning short-term tactical campaigns (trade driving) with long-term strategic goals (brand-building)Working with Kantar & SystemOne to deliver creative insight to optimise our advertising strategy and execution Key Skills People & leadership skills – the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the businessAdvertising industry knowledge – reviewing competitor activity and keeping up to date on industry initiativesBusiness knowledge – level of commercial awareness to differentiate M&S from competitorsProject management – the ability to effectively deliver briefing, responses and execution of campaigns on time and within budgetRetail – the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure What’s in it for you?
