To support our continued growth, we’re expanding our Transition team and looking for a Transition Manager who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys working closely with clients to deliver impactful change.
This role offers the opportunity to lead service transitions from bid through to delivery, engaging with clients across both public and private sectors. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping shape and manage expectations while building strong, lasting relationships.
Hybrid working : The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
As a Transition Manager, you will:
- Collaborate on bid development, contributing to viable solutions, plans, and cost models that balance innovation, risk, and competitiveness.
- Guide the transition of services from incumbent providers to Capgemini, ensuring continuity and quality throughout.
- Lead transition projects to meet agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets. Develop realistic and effective plans that reflect client needs and foster trust.
- Navigate complex environments with professionalism and empathy, representing Capgemini at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Build and lead inclusive, high-performing teams that deliver successful transitions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, helping grow the project portfolio through mutual value.

Your skills and experience
- Broad experience in IT transformation across areas such as Cloud, Data Services, Infrastructure Management, Service Desks, End User Services, Cyber Security, Service Management, and SIAM.
- Experience managing multi-stream IT, outsourcing, or infrastructure projects.
- A track record of delivering transition or transformation projects.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- Project management training or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is beneficial.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain .
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
