Mobile Mechanic – Service, Maintenance & Repair

Join the team and help us go places. As a Mobile Mechanic you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers – from driveways to office car parks – delivering first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

What You’ll Do

• Perform on‑site servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks on a variety of light vehicles.
• Interact with customers, provide advice and represent the organisation with professionalism and pride.
• Manage your own stock of parts and tools, complete required reporting and keep customer communications flowing.
• Think quickly and make the right decisions for each unique situation.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 light‑vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.

Working Conditions & Equipment

• 40‑hour week with core hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; occasional Saturdays (1 in 4) and flexible Monday–Saturday availability (8 am – 8 pm).
• Provided: a fully equipped van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit.
• Independence on the road combined with a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: £38,625 per annum (inclusive of any applicable London weighting).
• On‑target earnings: up to £55,000 including bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
• Guaranteed overtime option: after the first month you can opt‑in to work extra rest days at £30 per hour, potentially adding £3,000–£5,000 annually.
• Holiday entitlement: 23 days (rising to 25 days with service) plus bank holidays, plus paid family leave.
