💷 Day Rate : £278.32 (Inside IR35)
📍 Hybrid : 1-2 days a week onsite (London area)

We are seeking an experienced SEN Coordinator to provide support within a busy SEND service. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, ensuring statutory deadlines are met, and helping children and young people with special educational needs transition smoothly through different phases of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the statutory SEN assessment process, ensuring all work complies with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015.
- Cover caseloads during periods of staff absence or peak workloads.
- Coordinate annual reviews, phased transfers, and placement decisions.
- Chair and participate in co-production meetings with families, schools, and other stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality EHCPs and related documentation in line with statutory timelines.
- Liaise effectively with schools, parents, local authorities, and external agencies.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with complex cases.
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Resilience and strong coping strategies to manage challenging situations.
