Clinical Research Fellow in Dermatology
The successful candidate must; have a medical degree, MRCP and preferably relevant clinical research experience, be a good communicator and have exceptional organisation skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work both as part of a team autonomously is essential. - Work experience in the NHS of dermatology assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse.
- Experience of working within a dermatology setting
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision
- Research interest in dermatology
- Experience of research in dermatology

- Knowledge of the theory and practice of basic dermatology therapies in specific difficult to treat groups (e.g. dual diagnoses, people with additional disabilities etc).
- Basic level knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical cutaneous research.
- Demonstrate the potential to conduct/present research and publish in professional journals
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate clinical staff, for whom post holder does not have managerial responsibility.
- Able to deliver training to cancer multi-disciplinary staff members, many of whom are non-clinical
- Outcome of project will help shape and inform future policy development around MDT appraisals for the Trust and nationally.
