Nursery Teacher – Primary School, Hillingdon

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1 Year Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our primary school in Hillingdon on a one-year maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early years of children’s education within a supportive and inclusive school community.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for Nursery-aged children.
• Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS or equivalent early years teaching qualifications.
• Has experience teaching in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and safeguarding awareness.
• Is passionate about early years education and fostering a love of learning.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes positively to school ethos.
