Shape a greener future.We’re growing our Decarbonisation team at MTVH, and we’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor who wants their work to matter. You’ll help deliver retrofit and energy-efficiency programmes that make our homes warmer, greener, and more affordable for residents.The roleAs our Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be the commercial heartbeat of our decarbonisation projects. You will:· Own contractor accounts and ensure accurate reporting and commercial insight· Drive financial efficiency across retrofit programmes and manage budgets confidently· Review valuations, payment applications, and produce clear weekly/monthly reports· Work closely with internal teams and delivery partners to keep commercial and performance targets on track· Support continuous improvement in how we deliver energy-saving works at scaleWhat you’ll bring· Experience in planned works / QS / commercial roles· Knowledge of social housing or housing maintenance (client or contractor side)· Understanding of SoR-based contracts· Strong planning, budgeting, and organisational skills· Confident report writing and ability to interpret financial data· Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint· A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships· Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities· Eagerness to develop your skills and grow within the team To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete a basic check with the Disclosure and Barring Service once an offer of employment is made.
