A family based in NW6 is seeking a French-speaking nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old daughter. This is a long-term position with a stable schedule and a transition in hours from September 2026. The role is shared care with the mother, who is present at home.

Monday: 9:00am–7:00pm (10h)
Tuesday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
Wednesday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
Thursday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
Friday: 9:00am–7:00pm (10h)
From September 2026 (28 hours/week):

Monday: 3:00pm–8:00pm (5h)
Tuesday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
Wednesday: 3:00pm–8:00pm (5h)
Thursday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
Friday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
Salary
£18–£20 net/hour

April schedule: £540–£600 net/week
September schedule: £504–£560 net/week
Equivalent gross: £687.52–£897.37/week

Main Responsibilities
Provide attentive and age-appropriate care
Support French language development through daily interaction
Engage the child in structured and creative activities
Work alongside the mother in a shared care setup
Nanny Duties
Organise age-appropriate activities (reading, singing, play)
Encourage language development in French
Support daily routine (meals, naps, transitions)
Take the child to local activities or outings if required
Maintain a calm and positive environment
Child-related Housekeeping
Prepare simple meals for the child
Keep play areas tidy and organised
Manage child’s laundry if needed
No deep cleaning
Requirements
Native or fluent French speaker
Experience with toddlers
Calm, patient and nurturing approach
Comfortable working in shared care with a parent present
Reliable and committed long-term
