Sales Executive, Buy-Side Sales

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Sales Executive to join our high profile client.

Our client has recently been voted in the fintech 100 (best financial technology businesses). They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution. They have offices globally (travel arranged for your benefit if wanted)

The Sales Executive will join the buy-side sales team to monitor develop and manage buy-side relationships, with a specific focus on the asset management space. The goal will be to build on existing revenue through securing new clients.

The clients will largely be asset managers; however the buy-side in its entirety will be covered.

On a day to Day basis the Sales Executive will:

  • Develop and manage buy-side relationships specifically focused in the traditional asset management space.
  • Achieve revenue growth through newly acquired clients
  • Prospect new buy-side client opportunities through a deep understanding of client requirements
  • Generate leads through established channels as well as prospect through direct marketing
  • Provide presentations and demonstrations of the companies investment suite of software
  • Work with technical sales and project management teams to scope and deliver complex client requirements
  • Work with other teams to identify further sales opportunities

Application Sales Executives MUST have:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ of relevant sales experience in financial services and/or financial services technology preferable
  • Possess a good understanding of global equity, derivatives, fixed income and FX markets
  • Ability to quickly understand our client’s business priorities/challenges and align them to the company’s products
  • Ability to present and demonstrate financial technology solutions
