Compliance Officer - Multi-Site Independent School Group...
A respected independent school group operating across multiple sites in North London is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Governance & Compliance Officer to join its central administrative team. This organisation oversees both preparatory and senior school provision and is known for its structured leadership, strong safeguarding culture and high operational standards.
This is a strategic administrative role, ideal for a professional with experience in governance, policy management and regulatory compliance.
The Role
As Governance & Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the Executive Head, Governors and senior leaders to ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met across all school sites.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating governor meetings, preparing agendas and producing accurate minutes
• Maintaining statutory policy schedules and ensuring timely updates
• Monitoring compliance with ISI and safeguarding regulations
• Supporting risk register documentation and review processes
• Managing regulatory documentation and audit trails
• Liaising with external inspectors and advisors
• Ensuring GDPR compliance and data governance procedures are maintained
You will act as the central point of coordination for governance processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, timely and professionally presented.
