Private Label Sales Manager - UK Retail
What we ask
- At least 3-5 years recent Retail sales experience, preferably in dairy and in PL
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in (International) Business, Marketing or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Strong understanding of private label dynamics and retail buying processes
- Excellent social, negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- Proactive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
- Result-oriented and data driven mentality
- Dare to challenge
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at high pace
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Passion for retail, innovation, and customer satisfaction
- Excellent knowledge of Power BI, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).

Vacancy description
- Act as the primary commercial lead for assigned UK retail customers
- Build strategic, tactical, and operational customer relationships centred on joint goals (e.g., category growth, sustainability)
- Translate the PL strategy into 3‑year customer plans
- Manage all private label tenders, pricing, profitability and product development, drive competitive PL propositions for the UK market
- Lead creation of Joint Business Plans
- Build annual operational plans including sales, volume, margin, and market share targets
- Execute annual Sales Activation Plans
- Own the customer P&L and deliver financial KPIs
- Review sales, profitability, market share and adjust plans
- Provide accurate forecasting
- Oversee execution from concept to launch
- Collaborate effectively with Finance, Supply Chain, Strategic Pricing, Category Marketing, and peers across OpCos
- Build network within FrieslandCampina operations, mainly based in the Netherlands
