About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in Python and Django to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of developing scalable backend systems, building RESTful APIs and ML Pipelines, while ensuring our AI-powered solutions are performant and reliable. 

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Build, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and AI integrations.
• Implement and manage asynchronous task processing using Celery.
• Develop, integrate and deploy multiple LLMs into production systems.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance by leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code while maintaining high standards of software quality.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and improve the scalability and reliability of our systems.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Python.
• Deep expertise in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Experience with Celery for task queuing and orchestration.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Experience working with several large language models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and best practices for scalable web applications.

Nice-to-have

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of other AI frameworks or libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
