Senior Sales Executive - Housing Finance Solutions

We are hiring a highly driven Senior Sales Executive to accelerate the growth of our solutions for housing associations across the UK. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead new business development, build trusted client relationships, and drive adoption of advanced financial planning and scenario‑modelling technology in the social and affordable housing sector.
Having built a strong market position in the Netherlands with over 200 clients, we are now expanding into the UK and entering an exciting start‑up and scale‑up phase.
Ideal candidates have strong SaaS sales experience, an established network in UK housing associations, and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
What will you do?
Your key responsibilities will be:
New Business Sales
Drive new business activity in the social housing sector.
Execute a structured go-to-market plan and maintain regular engagement with senior decisionmakers.
Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities through active market outreach.
Lead discovery sessions and deliver tailored demos and presentations.
Commercial Execution
Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline aligned with commercial targets.
Develop pricing proposals and lead contract negotiations.
Collaborate with consulting, product, and business development teams to shape solutions and uncover additional opportunities.
Manage activity, forecasting, and pipeline quality in MS Dynamics.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product specialists, consultants, marketing, and leadership throughout the sales cycle.
Share client and market insights to inform product roadmap and go‑to‑market strategy.
Support sector‑focused campaigns and outreach initiatives.
Market Engagement & Thought Leadership
Stay informed on sector developments, regulatory changes, and market pressures.
Represent Ortec Finance at conferences and events.
Contribute to thought‑leadership content and sector insights.
Who are you?
You are a commercially driven sales professional with a strong footprint in the UK housing association sector . You are entrepreneurial by nature and take a proactive approach to building opportunities and opening doors, and you are willing to travel regularly within the UK You feel comfortable engaging with senior leaders and board-level stakeholders and know how to position complex solutions with confidence and credibility. You are organized, disciplined, and driven to exceed targets, while remaining curious and analytical in your approach. Above all, you are passionate about helping clients make better, more informed decisions and thrive in a consultative, value-driven sales environment. You also align with our core values .
What you bring
5+ years’ experience selling software, SaaS, analytics, or financial technology.
A strong, active network within the UK housing association sector — essential for success in this role.
Proven track record managing full sales cycles and winning new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of the business planning and decision-making processes within housing associations.
Experience selling to finance, treasury, asset management, or investment teams is a strong plus.
