ICT Analyst Specialist / Technical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the ICT Infrastructure Hardware Team in the role of Band 6 Senior Engineer-Hardware. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Trust's server, storage and backup infrastructure. Supporting the End User experience team and assisting the Advanced Technical Engineers and Infrastructure Hardware Team Leader when required.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the smooth operation of the trust SharePoint, Server, Storage, and backup infrastructure.

Responsible for daily housekeeping tasks including but not limited to:

· Maintenance of systems and environments together with testing.

· Maintenance of backup environment and its testing.

· Maintenance of the Trusts SharePoint Installation.

· Monitoring server systems for any anomalies/faults/ Update of critical/security patches and virus definitions.

· Responsible to identify and escalate to the Server Team Leader on any ICT risks. Initiate risk assessment, develop and implement solution where necessary in accordance with the change control process.
