As Sous Chef , you will support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in leading the kitchen brigade, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. The embodiment of Rosewood's Relationship Hospitality, you bring craft, precision, and genuine passion to every plate you send.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in the management of daily kitchen operations
- Lead the kitchen team during service, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality delivery
- Maintain consistency in food preparation, taste, and presentation
- Supervise, train, and develop junior members of the brigade
- Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are strictly adhered to
- Assist with menu development, seasonal changes, and innovation
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost control to minimise waste
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
