Teaching Assistant
Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a large, vibrant secondary school in Redbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their academic, social, and emotional development.
About the role
Support students across KS3 and KS4, both in-class and through targeted small group interventions.
Work closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and provide differentiated support.
Assist in maintaining a positive learning environment that encourages engagement and independence.
Support pupils with additional learning needs, including those with SEND or EAL.
Promote high standards of behaviour and foster a positive school ethos

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational progress of young people
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable TA experience
