Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – London (Tooting) – Up to £85k + Bonus + Benefits
Pembrook Resourcing are proud to be recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded developer, supporting the commercial delivery of one of London’s landmark residential developments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual to take ownership of a flagship project and play a key role in the continued growth of a prestigious, design-led developer.
The Role:
* Take full commercial responsibility for a major London development project
* Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
* Lead subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and contract negotiations
* Administer subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final settlements
* Prepare and agree monthly applications for payment and internal CVRs
* Monitor project financial performance and manage risk through proactive cost control
* Maintain effective communication with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders
* Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting in line with company standards
* Manage contract compliance and change control procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with a developer
* Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and construction law
* Proven experience managing large-scale residential or mixed-use projects
* Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, COINS, and other commercial software
* Confident in presenting commercial reports and leading meetings
* Full UK driving licence
