Global Account Executive (f/m/d)
Purpose of Position
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated individual to play an integral role in the fast paced and rewarding environment of account management. If you are enthusiastic about affiliate marketing, this is a great chance to further develop your program management skills and gain valuable experience while working with some of the largest clients across Awin.
As a Global Account Executive, you will act as a main point of contact for assigned accounts, working alongside the Awin account management team to implement successful affiliate campaigns and support on strategies to aid client growth and optimisation.
Key Tasks
- Support with the recommendation and implementation of affiliate strategies that are designed to produce a successful affiliate program, in line the client’s objectives and goals.
- Support clients with recruitment efforts, recommending new as well as existing partner opportunities and provide publisher outreach & introductions, as needed.
- Work independently to produce all necessary account management documentation and deliver regular reports on assigned programs.
- Familiarise yourself with industry trends and Awin products to inform program management, while keeping clients informed of relevant information.
- Regularly leverage & utilise the Awin platform and third-party tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, SimilarWeb, etc.) in support of account management deliverables for assigned clients and in support of wider network activities.
- Take a proactive approach in solving issues with assigned clients, escalating issues to the appropriate team level when necessary.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, publishers, vendors and internal teams via email, phone and face-to-face.
- Monitor affiliate program performance including key KPIs to ensure network compliance and program health.
- Provide support to all team members when necessary and be a reference point of knowledge and expertise for more junior members of the team.
- Proactively suggest process efficiencies and tactics in order to best support our clients and their affiliate goals on Awin
- Attend in person client meetings when requested at both Awin and client offices
Skills & Expertise
- Knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry, including commission models, tracking solutions and various affiliate types.
- An understanding of how Affiliate Marketing fits within the context of the wider online marketing mix
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Powerpoint and willingness to learn new technology systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast learner with strong team orientation and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Accepts and seeks out ownership and accountability of work.
- Strives to continually improve productivity and quality of work produced
- Willingness to provide back-up support to senior members of the team to best service the accounts
- Good standard of academic achievement (A-Level or Degree).
