Project Technician
The Service Operations Development NCE Department delivers customized solutions for up-tower repairs, crane less solutions or cost out initiatives to the NCE (Northern & Central Europe) Service regions. Strong collaboration with WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) Engineering Support / Construction and CIM department. Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of strategic projects focused on operational excellence, compliance, and cost reduction
- Prepare and evaluate CIM cases, including technical feasibility assessments, tool and material availability, and implementation planning
- Introduce, review, and support the deployment of new repair methods, tools, materials, and technologies
- Plan, organize, and deliver technical training, practical workshops, and briefings for service teams across the region
- Act as a technical focal point by facilitating problem-solving activities and escalating complex technical issues when required
- Develop and maintain technical reports, performance metrics, and KPIs for management and key stakeholders
- Participate in customer interactions and meetings, providing technical support and project updates when needed
- Technical, preferably electrical, education or equivalent engineering/technical qualification
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar technical or project-related role, preferably within the wind energy industry
- Valid B+E driving license and willingness to travel is required
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting tools
- Knowledge of Vestas turbine technologies, service processes, and technical documentation would be an advantage
- Experience delivering technical training in classroom, workshop, or turbine environments
- Basic project management knowledge with the ability to coordinate activities across international teams
- Strong safety mindset with a commitment to maintaining the highest HSE standards
- Very good communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Self-driven and proactive approach with strong organizational and planning abilities
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to details
