Assistant Manager Social Media

You’ll be joining our London office and team, home to around 100 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing, Marketing Activations, Sales, Digital, Finance, HR & many more.
As an Assistant Manager Social Media, part of the Global Brand social team for publishing in the UK, you will create brand connection and product desire via innovative storytelling and publishing, rooted in entertainment, sport, culture, and real-time consumer engagement through social media publishing.
What you’ll do:
You’ll support all core elements of social media at adidas. Calendar management, content planning, content editing, social publishing, copywriting, community management and reporting. You’ll be working across multiple workstreams and multiple projects at once so the ability to prioritize, communicate, manage multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on a daily, weekly and monthly basis is the norm.
Who are you? You’re a problem solver, a project manager and a social native. You know your way around social media – and will fine-tune what goes in-feed, be on top of the latest trends of emerging platforms, and extract data and insights to help us improve our content and presence on social. You’re solutions oriented, communicative and someone who has an encyclopaedic-like mind combined with a passion for social and a passion for adidas.
Relationship management and attention to detail are critical. Our publishing gets seen by millions - you should have an eye for creative review. You will manage the execution, delivery, and publishing of content within the rollout for adidas brand and give regular updates - in reports and in person in team meetings.
Skills you’ll need:
These skills are crucial to landing best-in-class brand storytelling and partner content effectively across our owned channels, and beyond, in this fast-paced role.
- Extensive technical experience planning, publishing and reporting on social media content and platforms
- Experience working with agency and content workflows
- Experience with data, reporting and content management platforms
- Strong written communication skills
- Advanced organisational and relationship management skills
- Curious, accountable and action-led
