Cleaning Supervisor

Cleaning Supervisor, Mon-Fri, 4AM-8AM, EC2Y, £15 per hour

JPC By Samsic is looking for an early morning cleaning supervisor to oversee the team of morning cleaners. This role will require the ability to lead and manage a team efficiently, taking appropriate decisions and ensuring the team meets cleaning goals. Successful candidates should have prior experience in a similar role, with emphasis on management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of janitorial staff, providing guidance and support as required.
• Inspect work regularly, ensuring adherence to company standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
• Organise the necessary staff training and development initiatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Resolve any cleaning-related issues that arise, taking necessary steps to rectify them.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring regular checks are completed and requesting for replenishments in a timely manner.

Qualifications: .

• Proven experience in a similar role within the cleaning industry, ideally within a commercial environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of cleaning techniques and health and safety regulations for commercial premises.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
