A lovely family based in Leytonstone, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their 6-year-old boy.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak Chinese or Mandarin. Someone reliable, organised, warm, and confident supporting a school-aged child with their after-school routine would be ideal for this role.

The nanny will be responsible for school pick-ups, supporting the child’s daily routine, helping with homework, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings.

The role will also include keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy. A driver would be a bonus, but this is not essential. No pet care or travel will be required for this role.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday or Friday, 15:30 to 18:30

Duties include:

• caring for a 6-year-old boy
• carrying out school pick-ups
• supporting the child’s after-school routine
• ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and development
• helping with homework
• supporting the child’s educational growth
• encouraging early literacy by reading books
• engaging the child in interactive play and activities
• arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
• maintaining consistent daily routines
• keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy

The family is looking for someone who can start on 7 September 2026.
