Marketing Assistant

As Marketing Assistant for Belmond Trains & Cruises, you are part of a team responsible for providing a support function to the marketing team. In this role, across all marketing planning you will support the departmental deadlines while also assisting with campaign, digital and B2B marketing deliverables. Based at the Trains & Cruises Central Office in London and reporting to the Divisional Senior Marketing Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for excellence and storytelling in travel, a strong cultural awareness and an unswerving approach to maintaining standards. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting with the admin of the Marketing department. Maintaining the calendar and project tracker, regularly updating with new projects, dates, deadlines and changes in priority.

• Supporting Marketing team meetings; assisting with development of meeting agendas, taking detailed meeting notes, capturing key decisions, action items and follow-up tasks and distributing minutes to team members.

• Assisting with the development of B2B marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, invitations and sales collateral.

• Assisting with the updates of the Belmond B2B websites, supporting digital content requests from the Belmond Commercial Organisation and Product Sales teams.

• Assisting with the management of web content (imagery, info, news, offers), ensuring all products’ web pages are regularly refreshed.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.

• While experience isn't essential, demonstrating a passion for marketing (within the travel and hospitality sectors) would be advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• A diploma or relevant certificate from a recognised tertiary educational institution.

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• An understanding of basic digital marketing, including web analytics tools like Google Analytics, is beneficial but not essential.
