Solution Architect - Data Salary: £90,000 + 15% bonus Location: Hybrid 3 days a week in office (London)

We're hiring on behalf of a major global sports organisation that is scaling its commercial and marketing operations to deliver smarter, data-driven engagement with millions of supporters around the world. As part of this growth, we're looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Data to lead the design and implementation of scalable, modern data solutions across their ecosystem.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the data architecture of a household-name brand, working with platforms including Microsoft Azure , Databricks , Tableau , Cortex (CDP) , MS Dynamics (CRM) , and GraphQL .

Key responsibilities:

• Design and oversee implementation of efficient, scalable data solutions across Azure and Databricks
• Lead data integration across BI, CRM, CDP, and campaign platforms
• Define architectural principles and best practices to guide internal teams and partners
• Manage and mentor a growing team of Data and CRM professionals (currently 6, expanding)
• Translate complex business needs into clear, value-driven technical solutions
• Oversee data governance, performance optimisation, and cost management

About you:

• 7-10+ years' experience in enterprise-scale data architecture, ideally within Azure/Databricks environments
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and external partners
• Strong hands-on experience building data pipelines and real-time integrations using tools like Tableau, Cortex, and MS Dynamics
• Deep knowledge of GraphQL, data modelling, schema design, and performance optimisation
• Confident communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
