Senior Quantity Surveyor
Senior Quantity Surveyor | Glasgow | Up to £62,500
We're working with a well-established construction consultancy based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. Our client has built a strong reputation across a range of exciting sectors and offers a genuinely supportive, collaborative working environment — this isn't a faceless corporate; it's a team where people are valued and careers are developed.
The sectors you'll be working across
You'll be joining a consultancy with a varied and interesting project portfolio spanning industrial, education, data centres, and student accommodation — giving you real breadth in your day-to-day work.
Responsibilties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Leading cost management across projects from inception through to completion
- Preparing and agreeing contract sums, valuations and final accounts
- Providing procurement advice and managing tender processes
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and design teams
- Mentoring junior members of the team and sharing your expertise
- Identifying and managing commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle
What our client is looking for
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS qualified (or working towards it) — either is welcome
- Strong experience in a consultancy or client-side QS environment
- Comfortable managing your own workload and client relationships
- A collaborative, can-do attitude that fits well in a close-knit team
What's on offer
- Salary up to £62,500 inclusive of car allowance
