UNISON is looking for enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individuals to support our Greater London region develop a strong and sustainable network of branch officers and representatives as well as establish an excellent casework and representation system.

The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role and be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns.

You will have excellent presentation and communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper. A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISON’s objectives and a good knowledge of employment law.

The successful candidates will need to be good at prioritising multiple tasks and flexible in their approach. Reaching members in some public services can be challenging during “office hours” so the successful candidate may be required to work in the evening, early mornings and occasionally at weekends. You will need to be able to travel in and around our London region (inside the M25)
