TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets that is currently recruiting permanent primary teachers to join their team.

The school prides itself on excellent teaching standards, a nurturing environment, and amazing facilities that support both pupil development and staff wellbeing. The school is open to applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to start their teaching journey.

In addition to full-time permanent teaching roles, the school is also seeking part-time PPA teachers to provide dedicated planning, preparation, and assessment cover, offering a flexible working opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing

• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress in line with school policies

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, leadership, and parents to support pupil development

• Participate in school events, training, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher status

• Experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential for ECTs

• Strong commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to engage and inspire pupils across the primary age range

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
