The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces, including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK, with tens of millions of visits every year.

We are now looking for a Visitor Support Officer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 36 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, the post holder will be working on site 5 days per week.

The Role

As a Visitor Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to visitors by responding to phone calls, emails and face-to-face interactions at the reception desk at our headquarters in Hyde Park.

Alongside the Visitor Support team, you will triage and answer visitor support enquiries, ensuring accurate record keeping of relevant information via our CRM and other internal systems, ensuring key visitor feedback is acknowledged, and investigating and responding to complaints, escalating where necessary to support an effective and timely resolution.

Whilst working at the reception desk at our HQ building, you will manage face-to-face interactions with external and internal colleagues and park visitors, as well as perform building administrative tasks.

About You

To be considered as a Visitor Support Officer, you will need:

- Experience of working in a customer-facing and/or service environment
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
