Senior leadership is approachable and offers mentoring, guidance, and professional development to help staff thrive.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to provide targeted one-to-one and small group support. You will help pupils access lessons, develop independence, and achieve their personal learning goals while promoting confidence, positive behaviour, and social skills.

  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals when required

  • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

  • Support pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activities

  • Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD sessions

  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
