JustOT are looking to recruit a Localities Delivery Social Service Manager - Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £58.26 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

As a member of the Localities Management Team and the Localities Working Group, this role fulfils two main purposes.
Firstly, acting as the development lead for the Locality (East, West or Central) will work in partnership to design, develop and support delivery of the new Localities operating model, alongside the Boroughwide requirements and ways or working for Adult Social Care.
Undertaking the detailed design work of the new Target Operating model and ensuring this is embedded within the services and meets the desired outcomes and ambitions of the Vision for the Service.

Secondly as part of the Localities Management Team will support the operational delivery of the council's statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legalisation for Adult Social Care.

Working with team managers, to lead and support the successful implementation of our strength-based approach to all statutory duties under the Care Act.

-As a member of the Localities Management and Project Team jointly develop the target operating model for the Localities Model and Boroughwide parts of the service. Ensuring meets all statutory and safeguarding requirements in accordance with the Care Act.

-Ensuring, producing as appropriate, all pathway, policies, and procedures to support the effective operational delivery model of the Localities and Boroughwide approach for Adults Social Care.

-As part of developing the operating model, work collectively with, residents, staff and partners to review and co-produce the customer journey for improved outcomes. Establishing clear borough wide and locality-based parts of the service offer.

-Ensuring appropriate communication and training / development arrangements are in place to effectively support the new way of

-Acting as Project Lead for the Localities Project (East, West or Central), be the key contact for the development of the detailed aspects for the localities ways of working within ASC
-
Working with enabling functions and wider project team, to ensure that end to end process are aligned and operational requirements can be met. i.e.

-Finance ensure that budgets are aligned and that suitable budget controls are in place.

-Work with Digital Services to ensure that any changes required for the case management system are implemented.

-Performance Team, to ensure that performance framework and reporting tool that provides clear oversight for the successful management of the localities and boroughwide service delivery.

-Communication team to support development of a communications plan.

-Working with Commissioning, Connected Communities, Providers, Health, VSC and residents to develop a local and borough offer that meets the needs of residents. This to include identify gaps and developing options to fill these.

-Ensure identified improvements and changes are implemented, sourcing resource and approval as appropriate.

-Ensure that Strength based working is embedded within the Localities delivery model.

-To be responsible for the leadership and delivery of efficient, effective, and safe services.

-As a member of the Management Team.

-oversee all relevant matters relating to Care Act delivery, working effectively with external and internal partners.

-To provide effective line management as required and be accountable for performance management and quality of work undertaken within the service.

-Develop and implement outcomes focused support planning and reviews to ensure that statutory resources are proportionately targeted, aimed at establishing a developmental / recovery model of support, which enables all parties to work towards service users achieving their goals and reducing their dependency on the state.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
