The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable student and school data, producing reports, supporting assessment processes and ensuring information is available to staff when required.
The role requires excellent attention to detail alongside strong communication and organisational skills. You will work with senior leaders, teachers, office staff and other colleagues, ensuring that school information is accurate, secure and presented in a useful format.
School Information
This is an established primary school serving children across the primary age range. The school has a strong focus on providing a well-structured and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to become confident, independent learners.
The school understands the importance of effective administration behind the scenes. Accurate data plays a significant role in helping leaders understand pupil progress, identify areas requiring additional support and make informed decisions.
The successful Data Manager will therefore become an important member of the wider school team, helping to ensure information is managed efficiently and appropriately.
You will work alongside senior leaders and administrative colleagues and will have responsibility for a range of systems and reporting requirements.
Data and Administration Team
The Data Manager will support the school with the management, organisation and reporting of pupil information.
The role will involve maintaining databases, checking information, preparing reports and assisting with assessment and reporting cycles. You will need to be comfortable working with large amounts of information and able to identify inconsistencies before they become problems.
You will also be expected to manage deadlines effectively, particularly during busy periods such as assessment cycles, pupil progress reviews and reporting periods.

Manage relevant school databases and information systems.
Enter, update and check student information.

Monitor deadlines relating to assessment and reporting.
Contribute to improving administrative systems where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with the wider school office and leadership team.
Respond efficiently to queries relating to pupil information.
Assist with general administrative duties when required.
Experience and Requirements
The successful candidate should have previous experience working with data, administration, information systems or a similar role.
Experience within a school environment would be highly desirable, particularly where the candidate has worked with pupil records, assessment data or school management systems.
The school is looking for someone who is confident using IT and comfortable working with spreadsheets and databases. Strong Excel skills would be advantageous.
You should have:
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills.
