JOB OVERVIEW
Locum Meds recruitment agency is seeking to fill an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Vacancy in London. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our dedicated team in London. As an ACP, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care by independently managing complex cases, leading specialized areas of practice, and contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our service.
Responsibilities of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Vacancy in London:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform advanced clinical procedures
- Lead on specific clinical areas or patient populations
- Provide expert advice and education to patients and healthcare colleagues
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current on evidence-based practice and emerging trends in your specialty
Qualifications for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Vacancy in London:
- Master’s degree in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy)
- Current registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., NMC, HCPC)
- Advanced clinical practitioner qualification in a relevant specialty (e.g., critical care, cardiology, mental health)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an advanced clinical practitioner in a relevant setting
- Demonstrated expertise in your chosen specialty
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and service improvement
