3-month contract role - potential to go permanent - City of London - Senior QS required to start ASAP

You’ll be joining a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering one of the most exciting £60m+ projects in the City of London. The organisation is known for its strong pre-construction capability and successful track record on complex, high-value schemes.
Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role during the project’s two-stage pre-construction phase, working under a PCSA. Your responsibilities will focus on:
- Managing pre-construction and prelim packages
- Buying permanent works packages
- Supporting commercial strategy and ensuring smooth progression into Stage 2 This is a contract role requiring someone confident to working autonomously within a high-performing commercial team.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need: - Strong PCSA experience
- Proven background in two-stage procurement
- Hands-on experience with prelim packages and permanent works package buying
- A solid track record operating within Tier 1 or major contractor environments
- The ability to manage procurement efficiently and drive pre-construction commercial outputs
