Head of Wholesale
About The Role
Join Origin, one of Europe’s leading speciality coffee roasters, in a pivotal role shaping the future of our wholesale channel. This is a hands-on, growth-focused opportunity to lead how our coffee reaches the most progressive, values-led hospitality brands across the UK and beyond.
As Head of Wholesale, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of forward-thinking, multi-site partners that share our commitment to quality, design, and meaningful collaboration. You’ll lead new account acquisition, strengthen existing relationships, and deliver service that reflects the whole Origin experience, working closely with our Education, Training, Operations, Technical, Brand, and Marketing teams.
You'll also lead and support a growing wholesale team, setting clear goals, building structure, and fostering a culture rooted in accountability, care, and commercial excellence. As the channel grows, you'll play a key role in shaping its future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and growing a portfolio of strategic wholesale accounts
- Leading on new business, identifying aligned opportunities and turning them into long-term partnerships
- Building strong relationships across food-led and design-forward hospitality brands
- Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver a seamless Origin experience, from onboarding to retention
- Using CRM tools and reporting to track performance, forecast growth, and support strategy
- Representing Origin at industry events, trade shows, and launches
- Leading and supporting a growing wholesale team, setting expectations, driving performance, and coaching for success
- Helping shape team structure, hiring, and rhythms as the channel scales, building a culture rooted in care, accountability, and commercial focus.

- Proven experience in account management or business development in speciality coffee or premium F&B.
- Commercial mindset with a sharp eye for value, margin, and growth.
- Confident communicator and trusted relationship builder.
- Highly organised, responsive, and familiar with CRM and sales tools.
- Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with team goals.

Desirable Extras
- Experience working with or selling into multi-site hospitality brands.
- Background in sales, barista training or hospitality operations.
- Existing network in the UK speciality coffee or hospitality scene.
- Confident public speaker and brand representative.

The base salary for this role is competitive and includes an attractive overall earnings package featuring performance-driven rewards and an uncapped bonus scheme. We ask applicants to include their salary expectations in their application.
