Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week

Key Duties:

• Prepare, cook and present all meals attractively and in line with the specification with the majority of dishes being made in-house.
• Supervise food delivery and presentation.
• To be responsible for managing and reviewing the gross profit (GP) so that expected financial margin is achieved.
• Comply with set menu specification which reflects Mytime Active’s standard of using fresh, high quality and seasonal products.
• Order all supplies cost-effectively using nominated and approved suppliers.
• Manage catering staff to ensure a professional safe, clean and efficient kitchen operation. Ensure that all staff are trained in food handling and preparation, the use of all equipment, personal hygiene, serving and food storage.

Role requirements:

• 3 or more years experience as a Chef, or in a similar working environment which included meal preparation and presentation of a varied daily menu, buffets and catering for functions
• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
• A sound knowledge of current Food & Beverage best practice and practical application in the workplace, including all legislative responsibilities
